ECO Septic Trash TanksECO 'Septic' trash tanks description and usesPrices from £570 plus VAT
The ECO range from Ecosure is not a septic tank as it does not comply with BS 6297:1983. Some companies are marketing it as a septic tank, but it should not be used as such as it is a single compartment tank and septic tanks must have 2 chambers with a minimum size of 2700L. These trash tanks are manufactured in recyclable polyethelene and are designed to accommodate drain invert depths to 700mm. They have optional discharge outlets at the top and at the base of the tanks. The neck can be easily cut down to suit shallower invert levels. The pedestrian duty lockable manhole cover is also manufactured in rotationally moulded polyethylene making it lightweight and easy to handle. In addtion a safety grill is available to comply fully with statutory regulations and HSE recommendations.
They can easily be fitted with septic tank filters to protect your sewage treatment plant. The outlet pipe is simply extended to a position under the lid. Bottle types cannot as there is no access to the outlet pipe.
These tanks are ideal for use as TRASH TANKS in front of sewage treatment plants in situations where it is not possible to 'police' items flushed into the drains, eg. hotels, B & B's, holiday homes, letting properties, etc. Trash tanks only require emptying every 2 to 3 years on average.
They cannot be used as a septic tank as they do not comply with BS 6297 : 1983
